In modern fantastic literature, the topic of androids is quite well worked out. Basically, sophisticated robotic mechanisms raise fears among writers, and therefore they describe such creatures as ruthless killers who are ready to destroy humanity. At the same time, people or other intelligent beings, moreover, do not know about the danger posed by the terminators they have created.
In my novel Mission Osiris, I decided to look at this problem from a different angle. I want to talk about the fact that these creatures can become indispensable assistants to the intelligent creatures that created them. That is, I want to push humanity to change its attitude towards these cyborgs and stop considering them only as a new and ruthless weapon. We ourselves endow robots with the qualities that they will have in the near future.
In my novel, they play the role of those navigation complexes that save spacecraft from the real threats that arise during long-distance intergalactic flights to other planets outside the solar system.
So, I describe in detail the time when the line between intelligent beings and androids is erased and becomes little tangible. I think that time will come soon. And it will depend on us what this world will be and who those robots that are so rapidly changing in our own world full of contradictions and mistakes made by people will become.
