
This year, a new literary prize named after Yuri Levitansky was established. It is timed to coincide with the centenary of the birth of Professor A.M. Gorky Literary Institute, laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation, poet and translator Yuri Davidovich Levitansky. Now the award accepts applications for applicants, the end of admission is July 27.
The competition is held in three nominations: “Poetry,” “Prose,” “Drama.” To participate, you need to make a video recording of the author’s reading of prose or poetry or the author’s reading/acting performance of the play. Works written and performed in Russian are considered; any author over the age of 18 can take part.
Winners will receive cash prizes:
laureates of the 1st degree – 100,000 rubles,
laureates of the 2nd degree – 50,000 rubles,
laureates of the 3rd degree – 20,000 rubles,
laureates of the nomination “People’s Vote” – 20,000 rubles.
