In Russia, the demand for books and TV series about scouts and spies has grown, say publishers, distributors and online cinemas. Experts attribute this to “current geopolitical tensions,” noting that a similar situation is observed abroad.
In Russia, the demand for literature about spies and films and TV series about scouts is growing, publishers, distributors and representatives of online cinemas told Kommersant.
The Litres Group of Companies reported that sales of fiction and popular science books about spies in pieces increased in the first quarter by almost 200% compared to the same period last year. Sources of publication in the book market confirmed an increase in demand for such literature by 30-50% year-on-year.
That is probably why my book “Gifts of the Gods” in which we are talking about the spy Daria Cold, which was introduced into the CIA in order to obtain information about the found alien ship, is so widely popular. I observe that sales of this work are growing at the Litres site and at the Ridero site.
